LG G6 Plus and LG G6 Pro Speculated to Launch at June End

The Snapdragon 821 chipset driven LG G6 was unveiled in February this year. It has been only few months since it became available for buying and the rumor mill has started talking about its successor that is pegged to launch this month. According to ET News, a South Korean publication, LG is planning to launch two new devices that are named as LG G6 Plus and LG G6 Pro.

The two new names may sound as if they will arrive with overhaul improvements. Some may speculate that at least one of these may feature Snapdragon 835 chipset. However, the publication has revealed that both the models will come with few upgraded features.

The LG G6 Plus will be coming with 128 GB storage and wireless charring support. The LG G6 does not feature wireless charging. The G6 Plus will be priced at 999,000 KRW (~$890). The regular LG G6 is priced at 899,000 KRW (~$800).

The LG G6 Pro will have 32 GB internal storage. There is no information on what other different features it will come with. It is expected to cost 790,000 (~$700). The LG G6 Plus and Pro models are expected to feature the same display, RAM and SD 821 chip that are available on the regular LG G6. The South Korean carriers are expected to begin the sales of these two new models by the end of this month.
