Meizu 16s has been certified in China

According to a new report out of China, the upcoming Meizu 16s flagship has apparently been certified by the Chinese 3C authority – hinting its imminent announcement. This device carries a model number M971Q and will be featuring the UP0830S USB port fast-charging adapter.

Last year, Meizu’s CEO Jack Wong had already revealed that the Meizu 16s will be the next anniversary flagship for the year 2019 instead of Meizu 17 which was rumored earlier on. According to him, this highly anticipated flagship could go official as early as May later this year.

Although there still any official words on its specs, but rumors have been suggesting that the device will be featuring the new Snapdragon 855 SoC which can be found in various high-end devices including the latest Xiaomi Black Shark 2 gaming phone.

Akin to the current Meizu 16 flagship, the Meizu 16s is also expected to come with an full screen display with extremely high screen-to-body ratio as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor.
