Yesterday, Meizu revealed that the Meizu 17 series will be debuting on May 8. The series includes two devices such as Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro. Today, the Chinese firm shared a render to showcase the front and rear design of the smartphone.
The new poster of the Meizu 17 reveals that it will be available in two colors such as Fantasy Unicorn White and 17-degree Gray. As it can be seen, the device sports a notch-less front. The chin of the phone is slightly thick as compared to the other bezels. The earpiece can be found in the top bezel. The company has previously claimed that the Meizu 17 is the only 5G that features a white colored front.
The top-right corner of the Meizu 17 5G’s display a round-shaped cutout for the front camera. The display is flat and probably carries support for full HD+ resolution. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
The rear side of the Meizu 17 has a horizontal camera setup. It includes four cameras with a ring-shaped LED flash at the center of the setup. The edges of the back panel are curved. Also, the phone sports rounded corners. The Meizu 17 Pro 5G is expected to arrive with a similar design. It is likely to equipped with more power specs than the vanilla model.
The Meizu 17 is speculated to house a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate support. The Snapdragon 865 chipset is expected to power the device with LPDDR45 and UFS 3.0 storage. It may come with a 4,500mAh battery. The Meizu 17 5G may come with support for 30W fast charging whereas the Pro model may come with 40W rapid charging support.
