Meizu has a launch event coming up on May 8 for announcing the Meizu 17 series of 5G-ready flagship phones. Meizu has been revealing key features of the Meizu 17 lineup everyday before the launch date arrives. Today, it revealed that the Meizu 17 is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
As it is already known, the Meizu 17 has an AMOLED display with a very small round-shaped cutout at the top-right corner for the selfie camera. Today, Meizu revealed that the phone is equipped with a custom-made 129-degree 32-mgeapixel ultrawide selfie snapper.

So far it is known that the Meizu 17’s full HD+ display supports 90Hz refresh rate and is embedded with a fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 865 chipset and LPDDR4x RAM powers the Meizu 17. It has UFS 3.1 storage and it is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The back panel of the phone has a horizontally aligned 64-megapixel quad camera system.
A Chinese tipster has claimed that the Meizu 17 Pro will have identical specs as the vanilla model. However, there will be few differences between the phones.
The Meizu 17 Pro will have faster charging capabilities than the Meizu 17. The 3C listing of the Pro reveal that it may ship with a 40W rapid charger and the company has already revealed that it supports Super wireless mCharge technology. Instead of LPDDR4x, the Pro model will have the latest LPDDR5 RAM. Lastly, it will sport a ceramic body. The phone may carry a price tag of 4,500 Yuan ($635).
