On Friday, Meizu will be launching the Meizu 17 series. The Chinese firm has been teasing on its features since more than ten days. It was recently confirmed that the Meizu 17 Pro will be arriving with support for Super wireless mCharge technology. Today, the company confirmed the charging rate of its wireless charging technology.
Meizu has revealed that the Meizu 17 Pro will be arriving with support for 27W fast wireless charging. In fact, it will be the first phone from the company to support wireless charging. In comparison, the vanilla model will not support fast charging.
The 3C certification of the Meizu 17 Pro handset had revealed that it could be arriving with a 40W fast charger. However, there is no official confirmation yet from the company for support for 40W fast charging on Meizu 17 Pro.
As far as Meizu 17 is concerned, it will come with a 30W fast charger. The other differing features that will be available on the Meizu 17 Pro handset are ceramic build and LPDDR5 RAM.
So far, it is known that the Meizu 17 will come with a 90Hz refresh rate supporting AMOLED display with punch-hole design. It will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the phone has a 64-megapixel horizontal quad camera system.
The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be powering the device. It will have UFS 3.1 storage. The device houses a 4,500mAh battery. The Flyme 8.1 based Android 10 OS will come loaded on the device.
