Yesterday, Meizu has confirmed that the company’s upcoming Meizu 17 flagship will be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery which supports 30W Super mCharge technology.
Now, the company has moved on to tease on the device’s front display. According to the latest teaser, the Meizu 17’s front display will be able to support up to 90Hz screen refresh rate.
Although 90Hz refresh rate is pretty decent, but its considered slightly underwhelming for a flagship phone given that recent mid-ranger phones already have higher refresh rate than that. For instance, the newly announced OPPO A92s and Nubia Play are able to support 120Hz and 144Hz refresh rate respectively.
Other than that, we’d already learned that the Meizu 17 will be driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 platform which will allow the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. Moreover, the device will also be utilizing the latest UFS 3.1 flash storage technology.
Design-wise, the Meizu 17 has a huge horizontal camera module that houses a quad-camera setup and a LED flash. At the front, the device will tout a typical hole-punched AMOLED display which has an integrated in-display fingerprint sensor.
