Meizu 18 Pro’s Camera Details Leaked, Reveals 50MP Main Snapper

Meizu will be announcing the Meizu 18 series of flagship phones on March 3 in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed a couple of key features of the Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro smartphones. Today, leaked shots of the Meizu 18 series promo material appeared online. The new images have revealed a couple of new pieces of information about the Meizu 18 Pro handset.

The first image showcases the display design of the Meizu 18 Pro. As it can be seen, its display has a selfie camera cutout placed at the top-center position and it also features curved edges. The company has already confirmed that the size of the punch-hole is 2.9mm and the screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone promises a screen-to-body ratio of 92.2 percent.

The company is yet to reveal the rear design of the Meizu 18 Pro. However, the promo images that have surfaced today has revealed that it has a large-sized camera module. It reveals that the setup includes an OIS assisted 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch enabled primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 12-degree FOV, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 3D ToF lens, a laser autofocus unit, and a ring flash.

The leak also states that the Snapdragon 888 powered Meizu 18 Pro is equipped with LPDDRR RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It appears the smartphone will be available in two colors such as white and blue.

The Meizu 18 series is expected to come preinstalled with Flyme 9 based Android OS. The company has already confirmed that it will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery. It will also come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor..
