Motorola has just filed another trademark under the name ‘Moto Maxx’ a few days ago, stirring speculations that the Google-owned company is prepping to release a new device by the name of Moto Maxx in the coming months.
Right now, there isn’t any news or leaks for this device but we do expect it to be a phablet with at least a 5.5″ display size this time round. But that’s not the point though. The main take back from this filing is that Motorola seems to have abandon their infamous ‘Droid’ branding and now prefer to brand their device with the name ‘Moto’ instead.
