Mysterious ASUS ZF handset spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 865 & 16GB RAM

An upcoming ASUS smartphone codenamed ASUS ZF has been spotted on Geekbench today with an exception single-core and multi-cores performance scores of 973 points and 3,346 points receptively.

Keeping in mind that the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 3 bears the model number ASUS_I003DD according to its TENAA listing, it is speculated that this device could come from the upcoming Asus ZenFone 7 series instead.

Based on its exceptional scores, we wouldn’t be surprised if this device actually features an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 chipset which could be marketed as the Snapdragon 865+.

Other than that, the listing also revealed that the device would arrive with a hefty 16GB RAM in its memory department as well. Since the current ASUS ZenFone 6 only has a maximum of 8GB RAM for its top-model, this device will definitely be a huge upgrade over its predecessor if its indeed the ZenFone 7.

As of now, there still isn’t any concrete information to prove the identity of this device – so its better to take it with a pinch of salt of the time bring. Hopefully, more information will emerge in the coming days.
