Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite goes official in Spain

Nubia has officially unwrapped a watered-down model of the Redmi Magic 5G flagship in the European markets. This device, known as the Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite, is currently available only in the Spanish market through Vodafone.

In terms of pricing, the Red Magic 5G Lite is offered at a 3-years monthly installment of €17/month under the “Mini” mobile plan. This equates to a total cost of around €612 over the 3-years period.

For starter, the Red Magic 5G Lite comes with a 6.65-inches FHD+ OLED display which boasts an impressive 120Hz screen refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. As usual, the front panel also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, this device will be driven by a toned-down Snapdragon 765G SoC instead of the Snapdragon 865 chipset found in the higher-end Red Magic 5G. This will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

In terms of photography, the Red Magic 5G Lite will be fitted with a quad-cameras system at the rear consisting of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be accompanied by an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.

At the helm, the device will be fueled by a 5,100mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. On the software-side, the device will boot on Nubia UI 8.0 based on Android 10 OS.
