Nokia 2 Priced at ~$115 Has 4,100mAh Battery, Snapdragon 212, 1 GB RAM

Nokia 2 is the newest smartphone from HMD Global. It is an entry-level smartphone that is packed with some impressive specs.

Nokia 2 Specifications and Feature

The Nokia 2 features a 5-inch display that produces HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is the first Snapdragon 212 chipset driven smartphone that includes a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor. It is fueled by a mammoth battery of 4,100mAh capacity. The battery can easily last for two days with single charge.

The Snapdragon 212 SoC is accompanied by 1 GB of RAM. The native storage available on the phone is 8 GB. It also features a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. It is pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Like other Nokia Android phones that have released this year, the Nokia 2 will be also eligible to receive the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update.

There is an 8-megapixel camera sitting on the backside of the Nokia 2. It is equipped with features like LED flash and autofocus. There is a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. The phone is enabled with usual connectivity features like LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.

Pricing and Availability

The Nokia 2 will be arriving in single SIM as well as dual SIM variants. It carries a global pricing of 99 euros (~$115). Customers will be able to purchase it by the middle of this month. It comes in color choices like Copper Black, Pure Black and White.
