HMD Global has just launched the Nokia X71 smartphone in Taiwan. However, it appears that the Finnish firm is also gearing up to introduce the Nokia 8.1 Plus smartphone in China. The smartphone that has a model number of TA-1188 had briefly appeared on TENAA with its images. Unfortunately, the TENAA is currently not showing the images of the phone. Also, the user manual of the Nokia 8.1 Plus has appeared on the official website of Nokia. It also seems to be taken down.
The above shown TENAA images of the Nokia 8.1 Plus (Nokia TA-1188) shows that it will be first the phone after the Nokia 9 PureView to feature an in-screen finger print reader. The smartphone is blessed with a punch-hole display to offer a high screen space to the user. The back panel of the phone feature a triple camera setup followed by an LED flash.
The specifications of the Nokia 8.1 Plus are currently under the wraps. It could be equipped with the same 48-megapixel ZIESS lens as the primary sensor in its triple camera setup like the Nokia X71 phone. The user manual of the phone confirms that the edges of the Nokia 8.1 Plus features a 3.5mm audio jack, a hybrid SIM card slot, a USB-C port, volume keys and power/lock key.
