During the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, HMD Global had announced the Nokia 8 Sirocco as an enhanced version of the Nokia 8 flagship that was launched in August last year. Fresh information suggests that the Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 9 are the upcoming flagship phones from the Finnish firm.
The Nokia 9 could be a premium flagship phone form the company that will be arriving with a 5.7-inch display. On the other hand, the Nokia 8 Pro would include a 5.5-inch display. The Nokia 9 is expected to house a penta-lens camera setup that is won’t be available on the Nokia 8 Pro. The source claims that their specifications are still under the wraps.
It is speculated that Nokia 9 could be the company’s first phone to arrive with in-display fingerprint scanner. Both the phones are rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset. However, they will be equipped with different amounts of RAM.
The Nokia 9 is expected to arrive with a premium pricing that will slot it amongst expensive flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S9. The Nokia 8 Pro will a cheaper flagship phone. The Nokia 8 Pro may debut in August this year, but the Nokia 9 is likely to break cover in September.
