The ZTE Nubia Z17 is also the first Snapdragon 835 fueled smartphone to feature 8 GB of RAM. Nubia Z17 is also the first smartphone to come with support for Quick Charge 4+, a feature that is unavailable on any of the recently launched Snapdragon 835 flagships like Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Xiaomi Mi 6 and HTC U11. However, the customer service of Nubia has said that Nubia Z17 is currently available with Quick Charge 3.0 which means the users will not be able to take advantage of QC 4+ on Nubia Z17 even though it supports the new fast charging feature.
The Quick Charge 4+ chargers are currently unavailable which indicates that Qualcomm has only announced the new QC 4+ rapid charging feature, but it seems that the company has not finished the production of QC 4+ chargers.
The Quick Charge 4.0 can reach zero to 50 percent battery capacity by charging it for only 15 minutes. However, the newly introduced Quick Charge 4+ is around 15 percent faster and about 30 percent more efficient than its predecessor. The charging through QC 4+ is around 3° C cooler. As far as Nubia Z17 is concerned, users would be able to make use of QC 4+ once its compatible charger is made available.
