Earlier today, ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia took to Weibo to confirm that it will be launching the Nubia Z20 flagship phone on Aug. 8. A leaked image of the phone that appeared recently could not reveal much on its design as it was placed inside a case. A fresh image that has cropped on Weibo reveals that the Nubia Z20 will be equipped with a notch-less design.
The new image of the Nubia Z20 is blurry, but it manages to reveal that it is equipped with a curved display. Zooming into the upper portion of the display does not seem to reveal any kind of notch. Could it be sporting a dual display design like the Nubia X from last year? Recently, a ZTE patent for a smartphone design with notch-less front and a square-shaped secondary display was spotted. Could the Nubia Z20 be sporting a design similar to the patent illustrations shown below? It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm on the design of the Nubia Z20.
There is no information available yet on the specifications of the smartphone. Since it is a flagship phone, it could be powered by Snapdragon 855 or 855+ SoC. The camera samples of the phone that had appeared earlier in this month had revealed that it will be offering amazing photography experience.
