Official: Honor Magic V will be launching on January 10th

Last year, Honor had confirmed that the company is currently prepping it’s first-ever foldable phone dubbed as the Honor Magic V. Now, the company has finally announced that the Honor Magic V will be launched globally on January 10th next week.

According to the teaser released by the company, it can be seen that the Honor Magic V will be adopting an inward-folding design similar to what we saw on the Huawei Mate X2 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.

Also, the device will be featuring a rectangular camera bump which appears to be home to a triple-camera array which will reportedly be lead by an unspecified 50 megapixels main camera.

Other than that, it’s also obvious from the teaser that the Honor Magic V will come with a centered hole-punch design for it’s covered display which is expected to be a 6.5” panel that offers a high refresh rate.

Unfolding the device will allow users to experience a premium, tablet-like experience with it’s supposed 8” inner display that makes multi-tasking a breeze on the device.

Interestingly, the Honor Magic V is also tipped to be the first foldable phone in market to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. On the software-side, we can expect the phone to be shipped with Google Mobile Services (GMS) in the global market.
