Official: Vivo Y52t debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 700, 13MP dual cameras & 5,000mAh battery

Chinese smartphone marker Vivo has announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Y52t in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 1,299 Yuan ($186).

The phone builds around a 6.51” IPS LCD display with HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls. Speaking of photography, the Vivo Y52t also has a pair of rear-facing cameras comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset that comes with an integrated modem for 5G connectivity. This will be paired with 8GB RAM as well as an option between 128GB or 256GB onboard storage.

Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Other than that, the phone also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and will be shipped with OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12 OS out of the box.

Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Black, Pink and Blue. Pricing for the Vivo Y52t will start from just 1,299 Yuan ($186) for the 8GB+128GB model and goes up to 1,499 Yuan ($215) for the top-of-the-line model with 8GB+256GB configuration.
