Although OnePlus has yet to officially confirm the launch date of the next-generation’s OnePlus 10 series smartphones, but the devices were already available for registrations (of interest) in the Chinese market.

OnePlus 10 Series Teaser -1

Now, an alleged video teaser of the OnePlus 10 Pro had apparently made it’s way to the Weibo microblogging platform which not only revealed the phone’s design, but also confirmed it’s January 11th launch date.

As seen in the teaser, the OnePlus 10 Pro appears to be flaunting a curved display that comes with a tiny pinhole cutout on the upper-left corner for it’s selfie camera.

Touching on this, we did heard from past reports that the front display is likely to be a 6.7” AMOLED panel that offers a QHD+ screen resolution as well as a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the front-facing camera was tipped to be a 32 megapixels snapper.

Coming to the rear side of the phone, we’ll be greeted by a rather unique-looking camera bump at the back which kind of reminds us of the contour-cut design that we saw on this year’s Galaxy S20 series smartphones.

Interestingly, the camera counts on the OnePlus 10 Pro will be reduced from four to three as the company finally decides to ditch the mediocre 2MP monochrome camera on the upcoming model.

These cameras will reportedly include a 48 megapixels main camera, 50 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as an 8 megapixels telephoto lens that offers up to 3x optical zoom.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 10 Pro will undoubtedly be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which should be paired with at least 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 flash storage.

Software-wise, the OnePlus 10 Pro is likely to be the first smartphone from the company to be shipped with Android 12 OS right off the box. To keep it’s lights on, the phone will supposedly be backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support.
