OnePlus 8T impresses with its debut sale in the Chinese market

Following its high profile launch event last week, the OnePlus 8T finally went on its debut sale in its home market where the device was greeted by overwhelming demand.

According to OnePlus China, the OnePlus 8T had single-handedly generated more than 200 million yuan (US$29.9 million) of sales revenue within a short span of just 10 minutes. This equates to between 50,000 to 60,000 units sold within the short period of time.

In fact, the insanely high demand for the OnePlus 8T shouldn’t came much as a surprise given that the device is certainly one of the most value for money flagship phone in the current market.

It packs all the premium features including a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865 chipset, latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage technologies, versatile quad-camera system, as well as 65W fast-charging support.

Despite all these goodies, the device is still comparatively cheaper than some of the premium mid-ranger smartphones, as well as other recently launched flagship models like the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
