After a long wait, we are finally just three days away from the official launch of the OPPO Ace 2 flagship. Now, OPPO has begin to shed some lights on the device’s gaming capabilities as well.
According to OPPO, the upcoming Ace 2 will feature an impressive 180Hz touch sampling rate and a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. This means that the will be on par with the recently announced Black Shark 3 Pro in terms of screen refresh rate, but fall short of its touch sampling rate.
Moreover, the company also confirmed that presence of a 4D cooling technology which assist in keeping the device’s temperature down after hours of intensive gaming. The device will also come with the latest “4D Vibration” motor for haptic feedback and dual stereo speakers to provide a more immersive gaming experience.
Recently, the OPPO Ace 2 had been spotted on Geekbench which reaffirmed that the device will be driven by the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 865 SoC. Although the device was also spotted on AnTuTu, but many believed it is likely to be a prototype phone due to its slightly underwhelming score.
Courtesy of the device’s TENAA listing,we now know that the OPPO Ace 2 will feature a 6.5-inches hole-punched AMOLED display, and will tout a circular camera module on it’s back panel.
The unique camera module on its back panel shares a close resemblance to that of the newly announced Redmi K30 Pro. This huge module houses a quad-camera setup which includes a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. It will be assisted with a 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
To keep its lights on, there will be a 1,955mAh dual-cell battery which will be able to support the latest 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging technology, and up to 40W wireless charging.
