OPPO Ace2 is scheduled to go official on April 13. It will be replacing the OPPO Reno Ace phone that was unveiled in October last year. The smartphone is already up for reservations in China. A leaked photo that has appeared on Weibo carries the pricing of the phone
The snapshot seems to be taken from a store in China that will sell the upcoming Ace2 smartphone. It mentions the key specs of the phone such as Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, 185 grams weight, UFS 3.0 storage, 65W superfast charging, 40W superfast wireless charging and a price tag of 4,399 Yuan. Since the authenticity of the image could not be verified, it is recommended to digest the pricing leak with a grain of salt
The smartphone is now listed on Jingdong Mall for reservations. The listing has confirmed that it will be available in three variants such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The 4,399 Yuan ($623) pricing seen in the leaked image does not seem suitable for the base model. If the pricing is true, it could belong to the topmost variant.
Another Chinese tipster has claimed that the Ace2 will not be affordably priced device. It could be coming to rival with likes of Xiaomi Mi 10 and iQOO 3.
