Oppo Find X9 display, chipset, main camera details leaked

Several reports have claimed that Oppo may unveil the Oppo Find X9 in September this year in China. So far, most of the leaks have focused on revealing key details about the Find X9 Pro, which is expected to feature a single 200-megapixel periscope instead of the dual periscope cameras of the previous generation. Now, a new leak has surfaced to reveal details about the display, chipset, and primary camera of the standard Find X9.

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Find X9’s engineering prototype is equipped with a 6.59-inch flat display featuring equally sized bezels on all four sides. The screen is integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Find X9 will feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset like the Pro version. While the exact size of its battery is not mentioned, it is said to be backed by a large silicon-based battery.

On the back, the Find X9 is expected to include a triple camera unit headlined by a 50-megapixel sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size, a periscope camera, and possibly an ultra-wide lens.

In terms of the design, the Oppo Find X9 is said to sport a new ID design and deliver an improved in-hand feel. Previous reports have revealed that the X9 series will not have a round camera module like the previous generation. Instead, it is expected to feature a matrix-style camera module at the upper-left corner. The leak states that the X9 will offer full-level waterproofing, which means it may come with an IP68/69 rating.

Meanwhile, Oppo is said to be working on the Turbo K13 series of smartphones in China. It is speculated that the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo will be announced in July in China.
