It was revealed by a tipster yesterday that OPPO is gearing up to launch the OPPO Reno5 K smartphone in China. Today, the company released an official confirmation that the smartphone will go official tomorrow. The device has also appeared in the product library of China Telecom with all its specifications.
Yesterday’s leak revealed that the OPPO Reno5 K will be a new chipset version of the Reno5 5G phone that debuted in China in December. The Reno5 5G came with a Snapdragon 765G, while the Reno5 K is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 750G. The rest of the specs of the Reno5 K are an exact match with Reno5 5G.
The Reno5 5G was made available with a starting price of 2,699 Yuan ($417) and in color variants like Aurora Blue, Moonlight Black, and Starry Dream. The China Telecom listing reveals that the Reno5 K will come in three colors like Green, Moonlight Black, and Starry Dream. The appearance of the Reno5 K resembles with the Reno5 5G.
OPPO Reno5 K Specifications
The OPPO Reno5 K (model number PEGM10) has a glass build that measures 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm and it weighs 180 grams. Its 6.43-inch AMOLED display offers a Full HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm chip that has an SM7225 model number, which confirms that it is driven by the Snapdragon 750G.
The phone will be arriving in two variant such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It has a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It has a front camera of 32-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system.
The 3,199 Yuan ($495) starting price mentioned in the product page at China Telecom appear to be incorrect as it is expected to cost lower than the Reno5 5G smartphone.
