OPPO Reno5 K with Snapdragon 750G Could be Coming Soon

In December, OPPO announced the OPPO Reno5 series of smartphones in China. The lineup has three phones such as Reno5 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, and Reno5 Pro+ 5G.  Fresh information reveals that the Chinese brand could be gearing up to launch yet another Reno5 series smartphone in the home market. The device is expected to debut soon with OPPO Reno5 K moniker.

According to a reliable tipster, the OPPO Reno5 K is powered by the Snapdragon 750G chipset. Its other specs are said to be identical to the Reno5 5G.

The Reno5 5G is available in three colors in China such as Starry Dream, Aurora Blue, and Midnight Black. The tipster claims that the Reno5k will not be available in Aurora Blue color. Instead, it will be available in a new color variant.

The tipster speculated that the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition of the Reno5 K will be priced at 2,499 Yuan ($387). In comparison, the 8GB+128GB edition of the Reno5 5G is priced at 2,699 Yuan ($419) in China. He did not share any information on the launch date of the device.

The Chinese variant of the OPPO Reno5 5G has PEGM00 model number. It is likely that the PEGM10 / PEGT10 OPPO phone that was recently approved by the TENAA authority could be the Snapdragon 750G powered Reno5k.

The OPPO Reno5 5G has a 6.43-inch OLED panel that supports a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 765G chip fuels the device with 8 LPPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage. It carries support for 65W fast charging for its 4,300mAh battery. It has a front camera of 32-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system.
