OPPO Reno5 Series to Arrive in Snapdragon 765G, Dimensity 1000, and Snapdragon 865 Variants

OPPO is rumored to announce the OPPO Reno5 series of smartphones in December. It is believed that the PEGM00 / PEGT00 OPPO smartphone that was recently certified by the TENAA authority of China could be the Reno5. A PDRM00 phone that was recently spotted at Geekbench is also believed to the Reno5 series. Today, a Chinese tipster revealed that the Reno5 series has three models. He also mentioned a few details of each of the smartphones.

According to the tipster, three Reno5 series of smartphones are powered by the sm7250 (Snapdragon 765G), MT6889 (Dimensity 1000), and sm8250 (Snapdragon 865) chipsets. These phones are expected to arrive with single punch-hole screens. The Pro model could be equipped with a curved display panel and carry support for high refresh rate.

OPPO Reno5 series leak

The PEGM00 / PEGT00 could be the Snapdragon 765G powered Reno5 handset. The second model in the series could be the OPPO PDSM00 phone that was recently spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing had revealed the presence of Dimensity 1000 / 1000+ chipset and 8 GB of RAM.

The OPPO PDRM00 phone that was recently certified by the 3C authority of China could be the Snapdragon 865 powered Reno5 Pro model. All three models of the Reno5 series are expected to arrive with 65W fast charging.

The Reno5 has specs like a 6.43-inch OLED display, up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, as well as a standard 4,300mAh battery. Other than that, it is also likely to come with a 32-megapixel selfie camera, as well as a quad camera system consisting of a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel cameras.
