OPPO Reno7 series slated to launch on November 25th

Following the success of the OPPO Reno6 series smartphones, OPPO will allegedly be launching the next-generation’s OPPO Reno7 series on November 25th in it’s domestic market, before the company expands it’s availability to the global audience.

Based on recent reports, it’s likely that OPPO will be launching at least three models from the Reno7 series lineup including the OPPO Reno7 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G, as well as Reno7 SE 5G.

OPPO Reno7 series launch date

Although the current Reno6 series lineup did feature a top-of-the-line model dubbed as the Reno6 Pro+, but there wasn’t much information pertaining to the existence of such model in the upcoming Reno7 series lineup at least for now.

As a recap, the OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G has been pretty much confirmed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset as the phone had already been spotted on Geekbench with the aforementioned chipset. For context, this is in fact the same chip that powers the current Reno6 Pro 5G (Review) smartphone.

Coming to the OPPO Reno7 SE 5G, a recent report apparently claimed that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset which was also used in some of the more popular mid-range models like the Huawei Nova 9 and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE.

As for the vanilla OPPO Reno7 5G, the device is rumored to retain the same MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset which was also found in existing Reno6 5G. Therefore, we don’t expect to see any phenomenal change when it comes to the performance of the Reno7 series smartphones.

On the design side of things however, there will be some notable changes this time round especially for the design of it’s rear camera bump which appears to share a close resemblance to that of the Realme GT2 Neo.
