According to official teasers and multiple industry leaks, the Oppo Watch S is positioned as the “slimmest round smartwatch” on the market, with a body measuring less than 9mm in thickness. At around 38 grams in weight, it is said to be as thin as stacking three coins.
The Oppo Watch S will feature an aerospace-grade aluminium body combined with a curved ceramic bezel and a skin-friendly silicone strap, aimed at ensuring a comfortable, almost imperceptible wearing experience.
The smartwatch is powered by a dual-chip setup of Snapdragon W5 paired with BES2800 MCU, running on ColorOS Watch. This combination reportedly enhances fluidity by about 35 percent compared to its predecessor. It is expected to pack a 200mAh battery that may last for up to 7 days on a full charge.
As per reports, the Watch S will support AI-driven heart rate variability analysis, 24/7 heart rate and sleep tracking, posture correction for workouts, and over 100 dedicated sports modes. Additional functions include automatic workout detection, independent calling, offline navigation, and smart notifications.
Apart from the Oppo Watch S and Find X9 series, the Oct. 16 launch event will also see the arrival of the Oppo Pad 5 and ColorOS 16. It is speculated that Oppo will hold a dedicated global launch for the Find X9 series on Oct. 28.
