Meizu 17 is expected to debut soon in the coming months in China. It will be Meizu’s first 5G-ready flagship phone. A leaked photo of the Meizu 17th is now doing rounds on Weibo. There is no confirmation on whether the image is authentic. The handset can be seen sporting a new punch-hole display design. The leaked shot also reveals the key specifications of the phone.
The live shot reveals that the alleged Meizu 17th offers a very impressive screen-to-body ratio as its display is surrounded with ultra-thin and symmetrical bezels. A closer look towards the right side of the clock reveals a small hole on the screen which houses the in-display camera.
The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform is present under the hood of the Meizu 17th 5G. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and the phone offers 128 GB of storage. The phone can be seen running on the latest Flyme 8 UI. However, the disappointing thing about it is that it has Android 9 Pie OS onboard. Hopefully, the phone arrives with the latest Android 10 OS onboard.
The image further shows that it has an AI triple camera setup on its rear. It consists of three lenses such as a 64-megapixel primary shooter, a 48-megapixel secondary lens and a 20-megapixel third lens. It is not known whether the first two sensor from Sony or Samsung.
Readers are advised to take the report with a grain of salt. Hopefully, more details on the phone will appear in the coming weeks.
