[Update: Realme 6i & 6 Pro] Realme 6 has been certified by BIS; launch could be near

Last week, a trio of upcoming Realme 6 series smartphones had been certified by Singapore’s IMDA. These devices include the Realme 6i, Realme 6, as well as Realme 6 Pro.

Now, the Realme 6 smartphone has also been certified by India’s BIS authority. What’s significant here is that since Realme has a track record of putting India as the first country to launch their smartphones, we could expect the device to make it’s official debut soon.

Based on Realme’s nomenclature, the upcoming 6 series smartphones will be the successors to the company’s current 5 series lineup.

The company’s 5 series smartphones have seen a pretty successful launch last year. According to Realme, there were more than 5.5 million smartphones from the Realme 5 series sold last year.

Besides preparing an interesting lineup of mid-ranger smartphones, the company is also currently prepping the official launch of their first flagship phone of the year. This device, known as the Realme X50 Pro 5G, will be made official on February 24th.

Update: It appears that the Realme 6i and 6 Pro have been certified by BIS as well. Perhaps, all these devices could be announced during the same launch event. That will definitely be the best case scenario.
