As scheduled, Realme has officially announced a brand new entry-level smartphone from it’s C series budget line known as the Realme C30. This device came just three months after the company introduced the Realme C31 smartphone in the Indian market.
The new Realme C30 builds around a 6.5” LCD display offering a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. Like any other entry-level smartphones, the phone comes with a typical dewdrop-notch display which houses a 5 megapixels AI selfie camera.
Over at the back, the phone has a single 8 megapixels shooter housed within a square-shaped module. This is of course a significant downgrade from the C31’s triple-cam setup which also has a slightly better 13MP main unit and a pair of 2MP cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Realme C30 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T612 chipset which will be paired with up to 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card if you need more storage for apps and media contents.
Keeping it’s lights on is a large 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with Realme UI Go Edition based on Android 11 OS. Available in both Bamboo Green and Lake Blue colorways, the Realme C30 is priced at INR7,499 ($100) and INR8,299 ($105) respectively for it’s 2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB variants.
