Previously, Realme’s vice president Xu Qi had already hinted on imminent launch of the Realme GT Neo which is slated to be a more affordable model as compared to the recently announced Realme GT.
Today, the company has officially confirmed that the Realme GT Neo will be officially unveiled on March 31st later this month and is likely to be the first smartphone in the world to be equipped by the new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
At the moment, there isn’t much details pertaining to the Realme GT Neo but it may come with largely similar specs as the current Realme GT except for its underlying chipset.
Furthermore, its also expected to be priced even lower than the Realme GT which currently has a starting price of 2,899 Yuan (US$448) in the Chinese market for its 8GB+128GB base model.
For those who’d missed out, some of the key highlights of the newly announced Realme GT include its 6.43” Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 chiset, 64MP triple-camera setup, 4,500mAh battery, as well as 65W SuperDart charging support.
