Yesterday, the highly-anticipated Realme X50 smartphone finally made it’s official debut in China. On the same day itself, the device also went on it’s debut sale.
The sale was however, pretty short-lived as the device was quickly sold out after it went on sale. Coincidentally, the Redmi K30 5G was also sold out during it’s debut sale earlier that morning.
According to Realme, the next round of sale will kick off again on January 9th later this week. Hopefully, there are more units available for purchase next time round.
As a quick recap, the Realme X50 is available in three different models with varying memory configurations as follow: 8GB+128GB, 6GB+256GB, as well as 12GB+256GB. These models are priced at 2,499 Yuan (US$360), 2,699 Yuan (US$389) and 2,999 Yuan (US$432) respectively.
It’s worth noting that the 8GB+128GB model of the Realme X50 is in fact 100 Yuan cheaper than the Redmi K30 5G of the same memory configurations. Likewise, the pair also share huge similarities in terms of their internals.
Therefore, it’s really a tough decision for consumers to make between these two devices.
