The wait is over! Redmi has finally unveiled their highly anticipated Redmi 10X series smartphones in the Chinese market today. As usual, the latest Redmi 10X series continues to make 5G devices much more affordable to the consumer with their extremely competitive price tag.
Redmi 10X Series Specifications
The Redmi 10X series has two 5G models known as Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G. Both models share pretty much the same design and specs except for the differences in their rear cameras.
At the front, the Redmi X10 series smartphones will feature a 6.57-inches FHD+ AMOLED display which comes with HDR10+ support and up to 800 nits peak brightness. The device employs a dewdrop-notch design to accommodate its single selfie camera at the front. For the Redmi 10X 5G, the selfie camera is a 16MP sensor while the Redmi 10X Pro 5G has a buffed up 20MP selfie camera instead.
Over at the back, Redmi 10X series will tout a squarish camera module located at the upper-halve of the device. The Redmi 10X 4G has a triple-cameras system which comprises of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
The Redmi X10 Pro 5G on the other hand, has a more advanced quad-cameras setup which include a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 8 megapixels telephoto lens with OIS stabalization, as well as a 5 megapixels macro camera. Courtesy of its telephoto lens, the device is able to offer up to 30x digital zoom.
Under the hood, the Redmi 10X series phones will be driven by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Battery-wide, the vanilla Redmi 10X 5G will be fitted with a 4,520mAh battery which comes with 22.5W fast-charging support. Although the “Pro” model has the same battery capacity, but it is able to support an upgraded 33W fast-charging solution.
Redmi 10X Series Pricing
In terms of pricing, the Redmi 10X 5G will be priced at 1,599 Yuan (US$224), 1,799 Yuan (US$252), 2,099 Yuan (US$294) and 2,399 Yuan (US$336) respectively for its 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.
As for the Redmi 10X Pro 5G, it will be priced at 2,399 Yuan (US$336) and 2,599 Yuan (US$364) for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.
