According to a fresh leak on Chinese Weibo, Redmi is expected to launch a new mid-ranger smartphone known as the Redmi 20X which will be succeeding last year’s Redmi 10X. This device was also listed with a starting price of 999 Yuan (US$152) for its 4GB+128GB variant.
Based on its appearance, the Redmi 20X is likely to be a rebadged model of the Redmi Note 10 5G which was announced in the global market last month. As such, its likely to come with largely similar specs as the Redmi Note 10 5G.
Redmi 20X Specifications (Expected)
Upfront, the Redmi 20X is expected to sport a 6.5-inches LCD DotDisplay which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Under the hood, its powered by an octa-core Dimensity 700 chipset which carries support for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. In the memory department, there’s 4GB RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage which supports microSD card for memory expansion.
Camera-wise, you can find a triple-camera setup around the back consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as 2 megapixels depth sensor. At the front, there’s also an 8 megapixels snapper for selfie and video-calling.
The device is likely to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Other than that, you can also find features like Hi-Res audio certified speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and IR Blaster and NFC connectivity.
