Samsung Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F02s Debuts in India; Specifications, Features, and Price

After launching the Galaxy F62 smartphone in February in India, Samsung is now back with new F-series handsets such as the Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F02s for the country. These phones have arrived as the rebadged versions of the Galaxy M02s and Galaxy M12 smartphones that were made official earlier this year in India. While the M12 and M02s are exclusively selling through Amazon India, the new F-series phones are exclusively available for buying through Flipkart.

Samsung Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F02s Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy F12 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with an Infinity-V notch, HD+ resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy F02s has the same screen, but offers a regular 60Hz refresh rate. The F12 is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while the F02s lacks it.

The 8nm Exynos 850 chipset with a 6,000mAh battery drives the Galaxy F12. It comes with LPDDR4x RAM, up to 128 GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. On the other side, the Galaxy F02s has the Snapdragon 450 chip, a 5,000mAh battery, LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 64 GB of native storage. Both phones carry support for 15W fast charging, and they have a microSD card slot for more storage.

The Galaxy F12 has an 8-mgeapixel front camera and 48-megmapixel + 5-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro) quad-camera setup housed inside a squarish module. For selfies, the Galaxy F02s has a 5-megapixel front camera, and it has a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system. The F12 and F02s run on One UI 3.1 flavored Android 11 OS.

The Galaxy F12 variants like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage are priced at Rs 10,999 ($149) and Rs 11,999 ($166) in India. The F02 model with 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage is priced at Rs 8,999 ($123) and the higher 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage costs Rs 9,999 ($136). Both phones will be available for purchase on April 12 and April, respectively, through Samsung India’s e-shop and Flipkart.
