Redmi 9 Real-Life Image Showcases Teal and Violet Color Variants

Xiaomi is yet to start teasing on the arrival on the Redmi 9 series, but the rumor mill is speculating that it may debut later this month. In fact, the phone is rumored to debut on June 25 in Vietnam. India, China and Thailand are some of the other markets that are expected to receive the Redmi 9 series. Past reports have revealed that the Redmi 9 series has four smartphones such as Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C with NFC, Redmi 9C (without NFC), and Redmi 9. The image of the Redmi 9 reveals that it has a polycarbonate chassis. There is a vertical camera setup that includes three cameras followed by a fingerprint reader. Alongside the vertical camera strip, there is a unit that houses the fourth lens and an LED flash. The handset is expected to come in at least teal and violet color options.

Redmi 9 specifications

The Redmi 9 is rumored to be equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display. The screen has a top-center positioned punch-hole and it supports full HD+ resolution. It has a front camera of 8-megapixel.

The rear shell of the device is speculated to be equipped with a 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system. The phone may house a 5,000mAh battery. With the inclusion of USB-C port, the handset is expected to arrive with support for fast charging.

The Helio G80 SoC by MediaTek is expected to fuel the Redmi 9. Some reports have claimed that it could be powered by Helio G70. The base model of the phone may come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage. Its higher version may have 4 G of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage. The handset could be priced less than $150 in Vietnam.
