Redmi K70 Ultra launch timeframe tipped

A recent leak by the Weibo handle Smart Pikachu has given us a glimpse of what to expect from the Redmi K70 Ultra. According to the leak, this highly anticipated device is scheduled for release in Q3 of 2024 and will be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9300+.

The Dimensity 9300+ chipset, to be unveiled at the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC) 2024, promises enhanced performance with a higher-clocked Cortex-X4 Prime core and a focus on generative AI. The Redmi K70 Ultra will be among the first devices to feature this cutting-edge processor, following the debut of the Vivo X100 series.

Adding to the excitement, the Redmi K70 Ultra is rumored to come equipped with a dedicated processor for graphics rendering, alongside features like an IR blaster, NFC, flagship-level waterproofing, and GPS navigation. Leaks suggest a sleek glass-sandwich design with metal frames and a stunning 1.5K OLED screen.

With a robust 5,500mAh battery and 120W fast charging support, the Redmi K70 Ultra promises exceptional performance and endurance. While initially exclusive to the Chinese market, there are speculations of a global release under the Xiaomi 14T Pro moniker, potentially with additional camera upgrades.
