Last year, Redmi had launched the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones in China. In March this year, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India. Recently, it also launched the Redmi Note 9v in the country. The Redmi Note 9 series that does not support 5G connectivity did not launch in China. Instead, the Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G were announced in China in May. A tipster from China shared a screenshot of AI Benchmark with Redmi Note 10 phone listed in it. Hence, it appears that Redmi could be planning to launch the Redmi Note 10 series in the homeland.
The above shown screenshot shows the Redmi Note 10 listed among other handset such as iQOO Z1, Huawei P40 Pro+, Honor 30 Pro+, Huawei P40, and Huawei Mate 30 5G that have already launched. The name of the processor that powers each of these phones is also mentioned. The screengrab reveals that the unannounced Redmi Note 10 is driven by Dimensity 820 5G chipset.
The listing reveals that the smartphone is loaded with Android 10 OS. It goes without saying that the OS will be overlaid with MIUI 12 skin. The listing further shows that its SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. Nothing else is known about the smartphone.
