Redmi Note 8 Pro Arrives in Europe with a New Midnight Blue Colorway

After making it’s official debut in China back in August this year, the Redmi Note 8 Pro finally made it’s way to the European market starting today.

Dubbed as the “middle-class king”, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will maintain it’s extremely competitive pricing in Europe. The device will come with a price tag of 249 euros ($273) for it’s 6GB+64GB model, and 269 euros ($295) for the higher-end model with 6GB+128GB configuration.

If you still remember, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is available in 3 color options at launch including Pearl White, Ice Emerald, and Electric Light Grey. However, that will see a change soon. Apparently, a new Midnight Blue colorway is also said to hit the market somewhere in November as well.

Needless to say, this device is probably one of the most valued-for-money smartphone you could ever find in the current market. This could be evidenced by it’s stellar debut sale in the Chinese market which saw 300,000 units being sold on a single day.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch 3D curved display with FHD+ screen resolution. It also deploys the same waterdrop notch design for it’s front panel, but has a slightly larger screen-to-body ratio of 91.3%.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is driven by the latest Mediatek’s Helio G90T, gaming-centric SoC. The Helio G90T comes with various smart components including the exclusive HyperEngine which could drastically improve gaming experience for it’s users. In the memory compartment, the device could sport up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

Camera-wise, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is also the first in the world to debut with a 64 megapixels optical sensor. It’s quad-camera setup on it’s back panel comprises of a 64 megapixels Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor, an 8 megapixels ultrawide angle lens, a 2 megapixels macro lens and a 2 megapixels depth sensor. At the front, there will also be a 20 megapixels selfie camera.
