There are multiple claims that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S21 series of smartphones in January 2021. A juicy leak courtesy of tipster John Prosser today that has revealed the launch date and color variants of the S21 series.
Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones. The leak reveals that these three devices will be succeeded by the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
While the Galaxy S20 series went official in February, the leak mentions that the Galaxy S21 will be announced on Jan. 14 and its pre-orders on the same day. He stated that the Galaxy S21 series will be hitting the market on Jan. 29.
Lastly, the leak mentions that the Galaxy S21 will be available in as many as six colors such as black, white, grey, silver, violet, and pink. The color variants will vary according to the region. The S21 Plus will be available in colors such as black and white. The more advanced S21 Ultra will be coming in color variants such as black, silver, and violet.
Samsung is yet to release an official confirmation on the early arrival of the Galaxy S21 series. The leaked CAD renders of the phones have already appeared recently to reveal the design of all three phones.
The leaked renders have revealed that the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will be sporting flat punch-hole displays. Both phones are expected to arrive with triple rear cameras. On the other side, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to feature a curved edge screen and quad rear cameras. The S21 series will be driven by the Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 chipset based on the region.
