If you’re one of the customers of Verizon or AT&T, you may be delighted to hear that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Developer Edition is now on its way to both carriers. So what’s the big deal about this device? Nothing special actually, just that it’ll be coming with an unlocked bootloader which many users dislike since it’ll probably pose a great deal of hindrance for those looking to root their device. Other than that, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Developer Edition will have the same actual specifications and software as the original model. That being said, it’ll still be pre-loaded with Samsung’s bloatwares that apparently eat up quite a significant part of the device’s storage.
As of now we’ve yet to hear about it’s pricing , but there are rumors that the Galaxy S4 Developer Edition will not be available for subsidies from both carriers so you’ll probably have to purchase the handset outright. If you’re interested, then you can start heading down to the carrier’s webstore to check for its availability during the next few days or weeks.
