The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have been officially announced. For customers who pre-order it, Samsung is given away free Gear V headset with Controller along with some Oculus content. The company is also offering another that requires users to spend $99 more to avail gadgets worth $530.
By just spending $99 more, users can get the following items for free: Samsung Gear VR headset with Controller worth $130, AKG headphones priced at $150 and 256 GB microSD from Samsung that costs $250. Some of the carriers like Sprint and Verizon are also offering the same offer.
In order to avail the additional freebies by paying $99, customers need to provide Samsung or carrier with the proof of purchase of Galaxy S8/S8+.
The unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 is priced at $749 and the unlocked Galaxy S8+ costs $849. Carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and US Cellular have started pre-orders of Galaxy S8 and S8+ from March 30 until April 20. The shipments will begin from April 21. Best Buy is offering $50 discount for customers who pre-order Galaxy S8 and $100 price cut for those who pre-order Galaxy S8+.The shipping of unlocked units will start off from May 9.
In the U.K., the unlocked Galaxy S8 and S8+ carry respective pricing like £689 and £779. It is available through Carphone Warehouse, EE. Sly Mobile, Tesco Mobile, and Vodafone UK.
