In August, Samsung is expected to unleash its new foldables, namely the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. Recently, tipster Yogesh Brar leaked the key specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold4. Now, he is back with a new leak to reveal all the key details of the Z Flip4 clamshell device.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Specifications (Rumored)
The new leak reveals that the Galaxy Z Flip4 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that supports an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has an outer AMOLED display of 2.1 inches for viewing notifications.
In terms of the optics, the inner display houses a 1-megapixel camera. The rear-mounted camera module will feature a 12-megapixel main snapper and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. The device will boot to the Android 12 OS and One UI 4.
The latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will fuel the Galaxy Z Flip4. The device will come with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of built-in storage. It will feature a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging and 10W wireless charging.
It appears that the Z Flip4 will borrow its camera from last year’s Galaxy Z Flip3. While there seems to be no change in the inner display, the Z Flip4 will have a bigger outer display as its predecessor featured a 1.9-inch display. The Z Flip4 also packs a better chipset and a larger battery. To recall, the Z Flip3 featured a 3,300mAh battery. In terms of design, CAD renders of the Z Flip4 that surfaced last month revealed that it would be nearly identical to its predecessor.
