On the front, the Moto G96 will feature a 6.67-inch curved-edge OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colours, and 1600 nits peak brightness. The screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5 for added durability.

In terms of build quality, the phone will come with an IP68 rating, making it dust-tight and water-resistant. The official images confirm a leather-textured back panel, and the device will be available in two shades of blue, as well as green and pink.

Under the hood, the Moto G96 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It will be the second Motorola phone to use this chip after the Edge 60 Stylus, which launched earlier this year. However, the company is yet to reveal details about the RAM, storage, battery size, and charging speeds.

On the camera front, the G96 will house a Sony LYT-700C sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for its primary lens. This is the same flagship-grade camera sensor used in Motorola’s Edge 60 lineup. The device is expected to run on Android 15 out of the box and will likely include Moto AI features for enhanced user experience.

While pricing is yet to be officially announced, based on the features revealed so far, the Moto G96 could be priced around Rs 20,000 ($235) in India.
