OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is all set to go official at 2:30 pm on Aug. 16 in China. It will be the third Ace-branded phone from the brand after the Ace 2 and Ace 2V, which were unveiled in the first half of this year in the home market.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will have a curved-edge AMOLED display on the front, according to the brand’s official poster. The back panel of the device has a round camera module housing three cameras and an LED flash. The image clearly reveals that the Ace 2 Pro will lack an alert slider and Hasselblad branding on the back. The phone will be in shades like cyan and grey.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro specifications (rumored)
According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will arrive with a 6.74-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to feature the same screen that’s available on the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+.
The Ace 2 Pro is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is the same chip that powers the OnePlus 11 5G. As per reports, the highest variant of the device will offer 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Ace 2 Pro’s 3C certification revealed that the device may offer 150W charging. The device is expected to run on the ColorOS 13.1-based Android 13. The other details of the Ace 2 Pro are yet to be revealed.
OnePlus is also working on the OnePlus 12R for the global market. It is expected to be released in India in January 2024. The CAD renders of the phone that emerged last month revealed that its design will be identical to the Ace 2 Pro. However, there is a possibility that the two phones may differ internally.
