Save the Date: Realme GT Neo 5 is Launching on February 9th

After launching the Realme 10 series of smartphones, Realme is now gearing up to launch an affordable flagship phone, the Realme GT Neo 5. The brand has confirmed that it will be unveiled at 2 pm (local time) on Feb. 9 in China. While there is no official confirmation yet, the GT Neo 5 is rumored to be showcased at the forthcoming MWC 2023 event.

It goes without saying that the USP of the Realme GT Neo 5 will be that it will arrive with a 240W charger, which will be the smartphone industry’s fastest charging solution. Based on the previously seen TENAA listings, it can be said that the company will announce the Realme GT Neo 5 150W and GT Neo 240W with different charging capabilities.

Realme China’s President Xu Qi shared the above image to reveal the thickness of the 240W charger. As can be seen, its thickness is almost the same as the 150W charger, which is placed beside it. Reports have revealed that the Realme GT Neo 5 150W will pack a 5,000mAh battery, whereas the GT Neo 5 240W will be equipped with a 4,600mAh battery. Other than these differences, both phones are said to sport the same specs.
