Sony releases new OTA update for the Xperia Z2 & Z3 devices

After releasing the Marshmallow update for the Xperia Z2 & Z3 devices back in May this year, Sony is back to roll out yet another software update for this pair of smartphones.

This new update will bring the build number of the device up to 23.5.A.1.291, but will not affect the current Android version on the device. Since this update comes with an hefty file size of 587.9MB, do make sure you’re connected to the WiFi before you begin updating your device. If you’ve not received the update, you can check for it manually by going to Settings > About phone > System update > Check for update.
