Sony Xperia XZ Premium Appears on Geekbench With Promising Performance

The Samsun Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are the first Snapdragon 835 powered smartphones that are available in the market for buying. The Galaxy S8 duo were announced on March 29. However, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium which was announced during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in February this year is the first smartphone to be announced with the Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium Geekbench

Since the initial stock of Snapdragon 835 chipset was allotted to Galaxy S8 duo, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is still not available for purchase. It is expected to be available for buying by the end of this month or in June. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has now appeared on Geekbench to reveal its prowess.

It is not known whether the Xperia XZ Premium spotted on Geekbench is retail device or a prototype, but its performance appears promising as it has scored 1,943 in single-core test and 5,824 in multi-core test. Even the Xperia XZ Premium performance prowess appears promising, it is still behind the scores of Galaxy S8 duo on Geekbench. The S8 has scored 2,008 and 6,575 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The S8+ has scored 2,006 and 6,708 pints in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
