The Samsun Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are the first Snapdragon 835 powered smartphones that are available in the market for buying. The Galaxy S8 duo were announced on March 29. However, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium which was announced during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in February this year is the first smartphone to be announced with the Snapdragon 835 SoC.
Since the initial stock of Snapdragon 835 chipset was allotted to Galaxy S8 duo, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is still not available for purchase. It is expected to be available for buying by the end of this month or in June. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has now appeared on Geekbench to reveal its prowess.
