Sony’s upcoming premium flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ2 Pro has been spotted on HTML5 benchmark. It has revealed that the Xperia XZ2 Pro could be one of the first smartphones from the company to arrive with 18:9 aspect ratio display
According to the HTML5 benchmark of the Xperia XZ2 Pro that has a model number of H8116, it is running on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is carry supporting for a resolution of 424 x 848. The latter indicates that the smartphone will be producing an aspect ratio of 18:9. Until now the Japanese tech giant has not launched a single smartphone with such a design. This indicates that the company is finally giving up the good-old rectangular OmniBalance design on its flagship phones.
The Xperia XZ2 Pro is also speculated to debut a premium flagship that will arrive with an industry first 4K OLED display. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is rumored to power it along with 6 GB of RAM. It may arrive in native storage choices of 64 GB and 128 GB. For photography, it may feature an 18-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual camera setup on its rear. Its front is speculated to house a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
The Xperia XZ2 Pro is rumored to debut with Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact smartphones on Feb. 26 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona, Spain.
