Even though the Sony Xperia Z has been released for quite some time, but none of the carriers in U.S. is currently carrying the 5-inch flagship. This is rather strange since the both the HTC One and Galaxy S4 which was launched later than the Xperia Z, have already found themselves on the shelves of various carriers. But whatever the case is, we’re now hearing from Sony’s Kaz Hirai and Phil Molyneux that the ” announcement about the Xperia Z with a carrier ” will be available very shortly. Sad to say they did not exactly mention which carrier they’re referring to – Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or US Cellular?
That being said, there are also rumors popping out that T-Mobile will be the first carrier to be selling the Sony Xperia Z since its variant has already cleared the FCC quite awhile back. Nevertheless, the Xperia Z would certainly attract a handful of buyers due to its high-end specifications as well as water and dust resistant body.
We’ll keep you updated once we’ve hear more news on the Xperia Z!
